Walk details

This is a linear walk from Reading Station to Arborfield Green. The start of the walk is urban, but we’ll follow footpaths, parks and quiet roads where possible to avoid the Reading traffic!

Once out of Reading the walk follows footpaths across open fields and woodlands, so sensible walking footwear must be worn.

The walk will end at Arborfield Green, Sheerlands Road bus stop. The Leopard bus service runs every 20 minutes back to Reading, and every hour back to Wokingham or Bracknell. Please bring a face mask for use on public transport.

There is no pub stop on this walk, but for those interested there will be the option of a short extension to the walk to visit 2 fantastic local breweries: Elusive Brewing and Siren Craft Brew (note that wine, spirits and soft drinks are also available). We’ll have an extended drinks stop before walking back to the bus stop in Arborfield Green.
