Walk details

From the station, we will walk over the canal and from there, follow the Kennet onwards to Padworth Bridge and Ufton Green, before joining the canal at Tyle Mill Lock and returning to Aldermaston along the towpath. Optional pub trip to The Butt Inn at Aldermaston at the end of the walk. Sections of this walk were quite overgrown during the recce – it may be a good idea to avoid shorts.
