Walk details

A leisurely circular walk that starts from Egham train station (outside the Main Entrance, platform 1 side.) We start the walk by walking towards Runnymede. We continue on to the Thames Path with its pretty array of boats. We shall pass the willow sculptures (which are relatively new to the area), the Jurors (the chairs), and we will also visit the JFK memorial, the Magna Carta memorial and pop into the Writ of Water before heading back to the station via Cooper’s Hill. Possible pub stop at the end.

By public transport

This walk is accessible by public transport and our starting point is just outside Platform 1. If catching the train from Reading, please take the 17.42 departure which arrives at Egham at 18.23.

By car

There is parking available at Egham Train station where charges do apply or on street parking down various side streets.
