Meet at Blackwater station car park adjacent to Platform 1 in time for an 18:15 start.  This is shortly after the arrival of the 17:50 departure from Reading, which arrives at Blackwater at 18:12.

The car park is free after 19:00, but charges apply before then. It’s 70p from 18:00 to 19:00

We’re off to visit Swan Lake Park and Cormorant Island River Valley Lake. Which are great nature reserves, and good for bird watching! We set off from Blackwater station and pick up the Blackwater Valley Path which is a short distance away, and we follow it until we reach Swan Lake Park, then cross over into Cormorant Island River Valley Lake. On the return we shall meander through Shepherd Meadows and Sandhurst Memorial Park before heading back to the station. Please bring a drink with you.
