A Sunday Train Station walk, on one of the few lines that doesn’t have Sunday Morning engineering works!

Meet outside Blackwater station in time for a 10:40 start.  If coming by train, take the 10:18 departure from Reading (10:26 Wokingham), which arrives at Blackwater at 10:34.The walk leader will be on the train, so if the train is delayed, the start of the walk will be too. For anyone planning on driving to the walk, I would recommend parking at Wokingham Station (charges apply), then catching the train to Blackwater, so your car is waiting for you at the end.

We will follow the Blackwater Valley Path through Shepherds Meadow Nature Reserve and Moor Green Lakes Nature Reserve. We will then follow tracks and paths towards Heath Pond. We will then make our way to Wokingham via Gorrick Plantation and a fruit farm.

Bring a packed lunch and something to drink. There will be a pub stop in Wokingham at the end of the walk.
