Walk details

From the station we will make our way towards the Thames path, passing the former home of George Michael. After following the path for a mile and a half we will ascend away from the river and have great views for our early lunch stop. We will then make our way to Hill Bottom and the first of our pub stops at the Sun Inn.

Suitably refreshed, we will then make our way back to Goring via paths and meadows, joining the Chiltern Way at the Great Chalk Wood. For those not wishing to dash off we will have a second pub stop here.

This walk will be a mixture of paths, meadows and woodland and will include some great views. Hopefully we will also see both bluebells and rapeseed flowers in bloom. There are a couple of steep climbs, but these are only very short.
