Meet at Bramley train station in time for an 11.00am start. The 10.38am departure from Reading arrives at Bramley at 10.53am in time for the start of this walk. The walk leader intends to be on this train so if it is delayed, then the start of the walk will be too.  There is very limited parking near the station, so if you are driving then please park considerately in the village.

This circular walk will take us West out of the station, along the Brenda Parker way, through Latchmere Green and on to Pamber Forest. Pamber Forest is a Site of Special Scientific Interest famous for its butterflies, with some 40 species native to these woods.  After lunch we will return towards Bramley via Pamber End, passing Pamber church and the remains of a former Benedictine Priory. The final part of this walk will take us through Little London before returning to our starting point

Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. Possible pub stop either as we pass through one of the many Hampshire villages or at the end of the walk in Bramley.

Please note return trains back to reading are only once an hour, so please allow for this if you have time constraints on the day.

NOTE: Due to engineering work, the start time of this walk has changed to 11:00am
