Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, this will be a “virtual” committee meeting via Zoom.
Behind the scenes of the Berkshire Walkers are a committee who, along with our walk leaders and other volunteers, make sure that the group keeps running smoothly. If you’d like to find out more about how the group runs, and especially if you think you might be interested in getting more involved by standing for next year’s committee, please come along – our meetings are open to all interested members.
One of the main items on the agenda at this meeting will be planning this year’s AGM (details to be confirmed, but likely to be held online in late October or November). All committee positions will be up for election, and it’s always good to have some new faces and fresh ideas each year. If you think you might be able to help out by standing for one of the roles then we’d love to hear from you – don’t assume that someone else will do it! You can simply stand on the day, but if you’d like to know more before committing to anything then please come along or talk to any of the current committee!
