Booking is required for this walk, via the form here.

Pace: medium.

Walk details

Heading out from the Unicorn pub, we will head down Peppard Hill towards Littlebottom Wood. After making our way through Greatbottom Wood and Oveys Wood, we will head into Greyhorne plantation, for a slight change of scene in shrubbery.

We will then make our way close to Wyfold Court, a grand estate and former hospital. After a brief bit of road walking, including seeing an old fort, we will head along the edge of Wyfold Wood and New Copse, before heading through Shiplake Bottom and up Shiplake Hill towards Peppard Common and the Red Lion pub for our pub stop.

After feeling refreshed, we will head back along Peppard Hill to the bus stop at the Unicorn and home.
