Following today’s walk, please join us for an outdoor social to mark bonfire night (slightly early) at King George V playing field in Twyford.

As well as a bonfire, this outdoor event features fairground stalls, beer tent with ales from Bingham’s Brewery, a barbecue tent and a spectacular firework display set to music.

Gates to the playing field – which are a short walk from Twyford train station – open at 6.30 pm. Tickets are available to buy on the gate.

Prior the event the organiser intends to be in a local pub with others who have attended the day’s walk (likely after 5.00), before heading to the playing field.

The organiser can meet anyone not on the walk at 6.40pm, at the main crossroads in Twyford – there are benches opposite Costa Coffee, next to the Twyford village sign.

For anyone coming later please text Clare when inside the venue. If people are earlier then they can text me and she’ll tell them what pub the group are in.
