Meet outside Guildford station in time for a 9:55am start. If travelling by train from Reading, please get the 9:18 train (9:25 from Wokingham), if driving, parking at Guildford station is £2 on a Sunday.

The walk is graded challenging for distance and one steep hill, but it is a relatively flat walk.

The walk starts through the Shalford Water Meadows before following the Wey Navigation along the river, then through the historic Chilworth Gunpowder Mills up to Albury Heath and Albury Park country park, past the River Tillingbourne.

We will then walk up the hill past the Silent Pool to the beautiful view points at Newlands Corner and St Martha on the Hill before returning to the station through Chantry Wood and the River Wey.

Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. Possible pub stop part way round or at the end of the walk.
