This walk will start at 10:25 am, which is shortly after the arrival of the 9:34 am departure from Reading. This involves a change of train at Twyford (arr 9:40, dep 10:08). The walk leader will be on this train, so if the train is delayed, the start of the walk will be too. Parking is available at Henley station, where charges may apply.

We start by following the Thames Path to Hambledon Lock. We will cross the river here, and make our way to the pretty village of Hambleden. After leaving Hambleden, we will walk through The Great Wood to Fawley. In Fawley, we will pause to look at the mausolea in the church yard. We then make our way back to Henley via the Oxfordshire Way.

There will be a possible pub stop en route, and a pub stop in Henley at the end of the walk.

Please bring a packed lunch and something to drink.
