Are you a keen hill walker? Do you fancy climbing your first Munro? Or perhaps you would prefer some low-level walking taking in the lovely Scottish scenery. If so, this trip is for you! Come and join me for a week based in Pitlochry with the opportunity to walk up (or round) some lovely Scottish mountains. From this fairly central location, a number of areas are available for walking providing we have a few cars between us; we can head over to the Ben Lawyers range, climb Schiehallion, take in the views from the West and East Mounth or head up to Braemar for some walks in the Cairngorms. Pitlochry also provides the perfect opportunity to sample some whisky with three local distilleries – Blair Atholl for single malt, Dewar if you prefer a blend and Eradour, one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, run from a local farm.

UPDATE: The deadline for reserving a space at Pitlochry Youth Hostel has now passed, and 2 dorms have been booked.  There is ONE female space left, and the cost for this is £133 for the week.  If you are interested in taking this place, please contact me.  As is common on BW holidays we will aim to eat together most nights in the youth hostel to keep the costs down, and I will organise this closer to the time. If you have any questions or want to know more about the trip, please don’t hesitate to contact to me.
