Don’t worry folks, the only thing that connects the walk with its title is it is the junction most of us will need to take to get to start point! Rather than scrambling around a busy motorway junction we will instead be exploring the open fields in the heart of West Berkshire.

Meet at the High Street in Chievely for a 11 am start having parked up considerately in the village. The walk takes us in a northerly direction to Stanmore and then taking a narrow route back we return via Beedon Common over mainly flat land. The nature of the land around here will hopefully mean it won’t be too muddy. However please be prepared especially if we receive significant rainfall in days leading up to walk.

Please bring picnic lunch, something to drink and allow for an optional pub stop at end of walk. Hope to see as many newbies, regulars and irregulars as possible!

Lift available from walk leader if given enough notice.
