Part of the Berkshire Walkers Winter Staycation, the walk will begin at 10:50 at Maidenhead station, upon arrival of the 10:34 service from Reading. If the train is delayed then the start of the walk will also be delayed.

The walk will begin by following a section of the Green Way and heading across Maidenhead town moor before following the Thames Path through Bray and towards Dorney. We will then pass Dorney Lake, where the 2012 Olympic rowing took place and head to our combined pub and lunch stop at The Pineapple, a pub with a fine selection of sandwiches on offer.  As the leader intends to reserve a table at the pub, please could anyone who is intending to come on this walk get in touch with the leader by 22nd December.

After lunch, we will follow the Jubilee River through Dorney Wetlands on towards Eton and Windsor, where there will be another pub stop before the train home.

Part of the Berkshire Walkers Winter Staycation – with walks every day from December 27th to January 1st – like a BWs trip away, without actually going away!

Part of the Rambler’s Festival of Winter Walks.
