Walk details

Starting from the charming location of Marlow, we will meander all the way to Windsor following the scenic Thames Path. We will pass Bourne End, Cookham, Maidenhead, and onto Windsor. As this is a celebratory (replacement) walk for the cancelled 30 miler, we’ll be having two stops on our way to Windsor, including a pub and a cafe. After lunch, the first pub stop will be The Crown at Cookham, which featured traditional horses & carts during our last visit (who knows, they could be there again!). After a brief refreshment, we’ll continue our meander to the next stop in Boulter’s Lock, where there will be a cafe (or ice cream) stop. We’ll then push on to the last seven miles to Windsor, where we’ll end at a pub of choice (depending on where we can squeeze in!).
