Meet at Marlow station for a 11:05 start, upon arrival of the 10:38 from Maidenhead. If coming from Reading, please take the 10:19 departure and change at Maidenhead (arr 10:32 dep 10:38). Please buy a return to Marlow and a single from Henley to Twyford.

We will begin by heading out of Marlow and towards the Harleyford Estate which dates back to the 12th century and has a Grade 1 listed Georgian manor house as its centre piece. After passing some golf club buildings we will head through a 75 yard long tunnel built by a one-time Lord of the Manor beneath Danesfield and towards Hurley Weir.

We will carry on to Medmenham before heading through open fields to Culham Court with panoramic views of the Thames Valley and into Hambleden where we will have a pub stop at the Stag & Huntsman.

The final leg of the walk will go through woodland and pass some Thames side water meadows before arriving in Henley where there is the option of another pub stop before catching the train.

Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
