The Missing Maps project aims to map the world’s most vulnerable communities: areas that are affected by natural disasters, poverty, epidemics, and other crises. Through remote mapping and feedback with local volunteers, the aim is to put 200 million people “on the map” by 2021.

You can help! What Rambler can resist the promise of “addictive and fun map making”? The team will help you get started in mapping, but you will need to bring your own laptop, and a mouse is essential. The software is compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows. There will be full instructions.

There will be free nibbles, coffee and other beverages. We will probably head to a pub across the road after mapping.

It’s free, you just need to book a ticket on eventbrite

Please book your own ticket via the link (limited number available) and meet in the venue with your laptop and mouse. If you don’t have this equipment, please contact Cherry or ask the BW Facebook group as someone may be able to lend it.
