This short, circular, morning walk explores the picturesque woods around Peppard Common, with a glimpse of the idyllic Tudor mansion, Greys Court.
Booking is required for this walk, which is limited to 12 walkers. Please note that to reduce the workload we have discontinued our custom sign-up forms and this is now handled via Meetup. If you are unable to use Meetup but would like to attend, please either ask someone else to register you as their guest, or email walkbookings@berkshirewalkers.co.uk.
Pace: gentle.
Walk details
Starting from the Unicorn pub, we will head north through Littlebottom and Greatbottom woods. After Satwell, we’ll head east along the road and through more woods, and then south past the National Trust property Greys Court – an idyllic Tudor mansion, though sadly we’ll be limited to the view from the path and won’t have the opportunity to look inside. Finally, we’ll head back down through Greys Green, and back to the Unicorn pub.
