A circular walk that takes in the Blackwater Valley Path and Yateley Common.
Booking is required for this walk, via the form here.
Pace: medium.
Walk details
We set off from Blackwater station and pick up the Blackwater Valley Path which is a short distance away. We exit the path and head towards Yateley Common, navigating a few residential roads along the way.
It would not be a Jen walk without a pond or two and this walk is no exception. We shall visit Wyndham’s Pool, the largest pond in Yateley Common, which used to be a bathing pool complete with diving board before WW2, now its simply a fishing pond!
We have the option to pop into The Ely pub before heading back to the station.
