Meet us outside Reading station (SU715739) North Exit for a prompt 7pm start. If driving there are plenty of car park options in the town centre but the station one can be bit pricey.
This is an enjoyable leisurely stroll that take us over Kings Meadow, up onto Balmore Park and through to Bugs Bottom, perhaps pausing a couple of times along the way for a drink stop and take in the views. We return via the urban sprawl of Caversham Heights and for those that wish we could have an extended pub stop at the Fox and Hounds in Caversham. If you are unable to join the walk feel free to meet us in the pub from about 8.45pm. If you wish to skip the pub stop the walk leader will provide simple directions to start of walk.
Note – walking gear not required. We are likely to complete in darkness but the roads are well paved and lit.
