Meet at Pangbourne station for an 11.30am start. If you are coming from Reading, take the 11.15am train which will arrive at Pangbourne station at 11.23am.If the train is late, the start of the walk will be too. Parking is available at Pangbourne station but charges are applicable. You can park for FREE at the Station Road car park which is opposite the Lamborghini garage, this is only a couple of minute’s walk from the start point.

This walk will start with us heading out from the station and walking along the side of the river Thames. Before we pop through Sot’s Hole and into the woods, walking through Berry’s Copse and Barnard’s Copse. We will walk through Bowden Green and down towards the busy and noisy M4 which we will walk parallel with for a bit! Stopping at a suitable location to enjoy the views and the contents of our lunchboxes!

Once suitably fed and refreshed we will start our walk back towards Pangbourne but stopping in Tidmarsh for a well-earned drink at The Greyhound pub. Once we leave the pub we will continue our walk back to Pangbourne following along the paths next to the River Pang.

The footpaths may be a bit muddy so please wear suitable footwear.
