Meet at School Green roundabout in Shinfield, near the postbox in the wall, at 11am. Please take care when crossing the busy roads!
This circular walk to Arborfield Cross and back takes in farmland, woodland, rivers, fords and an abandoned church. We should encounter some flora and fauna too – cows, sheep, deer, red kites etc.
Please bring water and a packed lunch. The plan is to eat halfway and there will be the opportunity for a drink and loo stop.
There will also be the opportunity for a pub stop at the end if wanted.

There is also a free car park at School Green – please car share and
park responsibly on a street if there’s no space.
