Walk details

After around ~40 miles, we have arrived at our final part of the Ramble to Reading. As such there will be not one but two drinks stops in our final part.

Starting from Pangbourne, we retrace some of our steps from Part 4 before heading out passed the Bozedown Alpaca farm, after which we start our short but steep ascent into the hills above the Thames to reach Collins End.

We soon leave Collins End behind making our way through Holme Copse and Little College Wood to reach Nuney Green where we will have our lunch.

After the woods we cross a number of fields before arriving to Mapledurham Golf Course where will weave our way through to our first drink stop at the Packhorse.

After the Packhorse we start on our final section of the walk, which passes through Tokers Green and then turns towards Caversham passing through the remaining green spaces enroute.

After passing through our last green space we then make our way to our second pub stop (to be decided on the day but either the Last Crumb or the Fox & Hounds in Caversham) for a celebratory drink, those who wish to continue straight to the station will be given directions.
