Reigate and Box Hill Circular, 14 miles, challenging

This attractive circular route on sections of two way-marked trails, the North Downs Way and the Greensand Way. The highest point of this walk is Box Hill, from where there are extensive views across the Weald to the South Downs.  The walk will pass through Betchworth and it’s church, St Michael’s, as seen in the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral.

For those wishing to take the train from Reading, the 09:18 arrives into Reigate at 10:26. The walk leader will be on this train.

Please bring snacks and plenty of water for this hilly walk and some lunch at Box Hill.

Possible pub stop in en-route or at Reigate the end. Trains back to Reading are at .23 past the hour.
