Sea Shanties!

Many of you may have heard of the folk band Fisherman’s Friends whose rise on the folk scene has been pretty meteoric in recent times, culminating in a recent cinema release of a film about them. Well, let’s get in the mood ourselves by popping along to the monthly social that The Castle Tap holds. I don’t anticipate that we need to participate in any singing ourselves (unless you want to).

The organiser intends to be at the venue from 7.30pm with the music expected to start around 8pm. The venue serves up a good selection of real ales and ciders with other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.  Not entirely sure of food options so I would suggest eating prior to arrival.

Hopefully the evening will be a blast so be great to see as many of you there as possible. Drunken sailors not guaranteed! 

In the unlikely event the music is cancelled we will proceed with the event as a pub meet.
