Meet at the free car park on the eastern edge of Ewelme for a 10:45 start. There is no public transport, but the walk leader can offer lifts to and from Reading if required, although please give notice.
This is a repeat of a walk I did a few years and is one of my favorites. The walk does contain a few steep but short ascents, which to regular walkers is fine but may not be suitable for first timers. There are some nice views…… of the M40 to the north, and Didcot Power Station to the south, Peacocks and in keeping with my last walk, the possibility of checking out the resting place of famous dead people. In this case: Jerome K. Jerome. Please bring lunch, (in Ewelme Park) and lots of water. Pub stop at end.
