Meet at Thatcham station for an 11:00am start. If travelling from Reading take the 10:38am departure, which arrives at 10:54am. The walk leader will wait for the arrival of this train.
This is a linear walk from Thatcham station to Aldermaston station. After leaving Thatcham we will walk through the countryside north of the A4 including the villages of Colthrop, Midgham and Woolhampton. Our pub stop will be the Rowbarge. After suitable refreshment we will walk along the canal to Aldermaston where we will have our second pub stop. From there Aldermaston station is a five minute walk. Trains to Reading and Newbury are every hour.
As usual, please bring a packed lunch and water.

If coming by train from Reading, buy a return to Thatcham.
If coming by train from Newbury, buy a return to Aldermaston.
