Meet outside the Three Guineas public house for a 5.45pm start. Walking gear not required.

This is a short stroll discovering a part of Reading Town Centre; an Abbey, a canal and an historic bridge built in the era of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. We return back via the River Thames, England’s longest River via View Island and a stroll over a much more recent river crossing, Christchurch bridge. The aim is to complete by 7pm.

This walk is geared as an introduction to the National Young Ramblers weekend away. However, we would be delighted to welcome all people whether you are attending our event or not.
