Setting out from the car park at SU116639 at 10.30am, our route first takes us over the aptly named Walkers Hill, before passing near the white horse (if the weather is good, there should be nice views of it on the way back). We’ll continue on the top of the ridge, following the White Horse Trail to Tan Hill. Our descent into the vale, via Cliffords Hill, will hopefully be followed by some refreshment in The Kings Arms, All Cannings. Honeystreet will be the next destination after a short walk along the Kennet and Avon canal, and marks the start of our re-ascent of Walkers Hill en route to the cars.

Please bring a packed lunch and refreshments. There is no public transport to this walk, however the car park is quite small: please car share where-ever possible. If you have energy left at the end of the walk, Knap Hill hill fort is a short distance to the east and worth a visit.
