This 8 mile walk from Waltham St Lawrence is a circular walk taking in large parts of the Knowl Hill Bridleway Circuit. Due to the time of year this walk is for those who enjoy some muddy paths!
Walk details
This is a muddy walk and requires boots rather than shoes. Starting and finishing outside The Bell pub this walk takes in large parts of the Knowl Hill Bridleway Circuit. Lunch is in a lovely field with a lake by Shottesbrooke Park which is about 5miles into the walk. You will need to bring a packed lunch. There is no pub on route but The Bell at the end should be open if you fancy a drink before departing.

By car
Car parking is available on the roads in and around Waltham St Lawrence. Please be considerate of residents and other road users when parking.
Notes
- If you or someone else from your household has COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend.
- Please be considerate to other path users and step aside to let people past – and don’t forget to say ‘hi’ or ‘thanks’!
- Please bring a packed lunch and a drink.
- It might be muddy – please wear suitable footwear.
- If it’s a rainy day, please bring waterproofs.
