Welcome to 2022!

This very easy 5 mile walk will take us out of Pangbourne through the woodlands at the back of Pangbourne. We walk through the small village of Tidmarsh and follow the River Pang into Pangbourne.

Hopefully this will help to get rid of that hangover?

Walk details

This walk will start with us heading out from the station and walking along the side of the river Thames. Before we pop through Sot’s Hole and into the woods, walking through Berry Copse and Barnard’s Copse.

We will walk past Bowden Green and on towards Tidmarsh. After passing through Tidmarsh we will follow the River Pang back into Pangbourne and finish our walk back at the train station.

This walk is likely to be muddy so please wear sensible footwear! There is no lunch stop on this walk but please bring a snack and some sort of refreshment (guess not alcohol – new years resolution to give up drinking?)

Hopefully this will have helped to clear your heads after partying until the small hours for new year!
