Just over four years ago, in July 2015, a graduate from Maidenhead named Jack joined a local accountancy practice in his hometown to commence training to become an accountant.  A number of exams followed, with several weekends and annual leave days in his study being needed to meet the tough standard required for passing the numerous hurdles in place.

And now, as at the end of August this year, he has now emerged as fully qualified and is ready for a proper celebration!  And what better way to do it in true Berkshire Walkers fashion, with a crawl around a town famous for royalty but also known for a decent number of pubs, Windsor!

We will kick off the crawl at 2pm upon arrival of the 13:50 from Slough into Windsor & Eton Central at 13:56.  If coming from Reading, please get the 13:25.  If you can’t make it for then, but plan on joining us later on in the day, please let Jack know in advance so that we can arrange to meet you.

We will aim to cover around 5 to 6 pubs over the course of the afternoon/evening with a dinner stop at the main Windsor Wetherspoons, the King and Castle along the way.  Please feel free to drink as much or as little as you like, there is certainly no pressure to have loads if you don’t want to.  If specifically requested, we may also take the chance to spot some of the Lions of Windsor sculptures on display in the town whilst moving between pubs.  Depending on how much is consumed, we will most likely finish between 10 and 11pm.

Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for what should hopefully be a great day out!
