Meet at Pangbourne station for a 10.30am start. If you are coming from Reading, take the 10.22am departure. The train will arrive at Pangbourne at 10.30am. If the train is late, the start of the walk will be too. Parking is available at the station (charges will apply).

This walk from Pangbourne Station will take us through the middle of Pangbourne and out along part of the Berkshire Circular Route before going up through part of Sulham Wood.

We will walk along some well-established ancient footpaths through Mosshall Wood with stunning views through to the rolling countryside beyond.

We will stop for lunch along the way before we stop for a well-deserved drink at The Greyhound pub in Tidmarsh. After being delightfully refreshed here we will start meandering back towards Pangbourne Station and walking along some of the River Pang. Here we may be given the opportunity to see some of Berkshire’s wild birds and animals.

This is an easy walk with a couple of small hills to negotiate. Please bring a packed lunch and something to drink.
