The Young Ramblers virtual quiz might not be on this week, but in its place will be a virtual pub night at “The Staying Inn” where you can bring a beverage and chat with fellow young Ramblers from similar groups around the country about whatever you wish!
This will happen using the same voice chat on the Discord platform that’s used for the regular quizzes. Use this link to get access to the “Young Ramblers Chatroom” server where the event will be hosted – please join the “Staying Inn” voice and text channels to chat with everyone! The voice chat now supports video as well so people can see each other, although of course turning on your webcam is optional!
You can either download the app to your computer or phone, or use the web version directly in a browser.
Doors open at 8pm and the event will begin with a quick 10-question pop quiz in honour of the regular full quiz, but then the chat will just be open for whatever you wish to talk about, serious or otherwise. The pub may be virtual, but the drinks don’t have to be, so do bring along your beverage of choice!
