We aim to provide a friendly, inclusive, welcoming and safe environment for those participating in the group. All members should be familiar with the group charter, which sets out our expectations of all members.
With this in mind, we will not tolerate bullying, harassment, discrimination or other inappropriate behaviour towards other members. Incidents of this nature are not a common occurrence, but if anything should happen on one of our walks or other events that you are concerned about, or which makes you feel uncomfortable, please let either the walk leader/event organiser or any member of the committee know, so that any necessary action can be taken.
As we are part of the Ramblers, those participating in any of our activities are also expected to follow the Ramblers Values (see below). The organisation’s safeguarding policies can be found here.
